Question about Masaaaki Hatsumi & Stephen K Hayes.
As some of you might have already guessed I'm not a fan of politics. Even politics found in martial arts I do my best to stay clear off. Through  the years I've read & heard this and that about Soke Masaaki Hatsumi & Stephen K Hayes but I've never got a clear picture of what happened between them? Does anybody here actually know what happened? Thanks. Fiery

Not sure what you mean - other than Hayes has formed his own school and style after years with Hatsumi, and paying homage and respect to Hatsumi.  If you mean was there a falling out between them, I don't think so - neither has disowned or tried to discredit the other.   

Similar, yet different, to the Tanemura-Hatsumi split some years ago.  People all around said there were hard feelings between the two, yet nothing has come directly from them to that effect.  Genbukan and Bujinkan live on.
